Introduction

It is the 14th of April 2023. Welcome to episode 21 of the Delivering Development podcast, helping language teachers and others in the field to enhance their professional development.

This is a short episode to get things kick-started again after somewhat of a hiatus of almost a year. No excuses: I just haven’t got my act together for anything but essential stuff for a year or so. I’m hoping to change that now and this episode is a shout-out to Ruth Pringle and her project to match learners to teachers. As part of this, she is interviewing some of the teachers involved and her invitation to me to do an interview has also served as my motivation to get things back on the road again.

It is only me on this episode, and it is only 10 minutes long. I mention Ruth’s project and I also mention that Pete and I may be writing a book chapter and how that can really help you to clarify your thoughts on a topic. We have episodes lined up involving two guests and also an episode that will look at blending learning and what it really means now.
