Introduction
It is the 22nd of November 2023. Welcome to episode 26 of the Delivering Development podcast, helping language teachers and others in the field to enhance their professional development. My name is Kevin Westbrook, and with me today are Laura Styles and Neil Bullock.
Two episodes ago we started looking at what “blended learning” is. We failed miserably to get beyond one definition in this field, “flipped learning”, but I think it was a useful podcast nonetheless. So, today we continued with a discussion of other terms, in a possibly vain attempt to gain some clearer idea of what some of the terms mean and, indeed, whether they are useful or just confuse the issue. I think we were successful, but it was definitely as Neil said near the end of the podcast, very “discursive”. It has certainly given us food for thought for future editions.
